I keep my running log by recording
distance ran, time and maximum heart rate. My maximum heart rate is
198 and resting heart rate is 44-58
.
I train 16 hours a week. 10 hours of this
is aerobic steady running on asphalt and 2 hours is aneorobic on the
track. 2 hours Per week biking and 2 hours Orienteering. I do
calisthenics and strength training during the remaining time. I
train every day except Monday which is my rest day.
Plans For 2007
I need to devote more time to training
and the winter season is ideal for achieving this. I plan on
competing in 16 races, with varying levels of difficulty, in 8
countries. The Scandanavian forests are ideal for perfecting
Orienteering techniques. In the event that I get sponsorship and
financial support I will be able to pursue this line of training.
My goal is to be in the top 3 in the top
Elite level World Ranking Events by 2010. I feel I will achieve this goal as long as I
believe in myself and my training.
